CreaNova participates in the VII edition of the ‘Copa Cangur’ and once again we get a good place in the local phase.
The team formed by 7 students of 2nd and 3rd ESO, accompanied by their teacher Cristina Prada, participated with extraordinary energy. They have created a climate of complicity. They have encouraged in the error and celebrated the success. With conscientious teamwork they achieved the third place in tests that are not easy.
The Kangaroo Cup is a face-to-face contest for solving math problems for school teams, organized by the Catalan Mathematical Society and which is supported by Isotropic.
The contest presents 12 problems and 60 minutes of time to solve as many of them as possible. It is a race against the clock where the score obtained for each problem varies during the contest, and therefore the team strategy is very important! In addition, during the development of the contest the teams can track the status of the competition, both the score and the classification, as well as the successes and errors that each of the participants has accumulated. This makes it an exciting and fun game, with math as the protagonist!
